LTE Modems

The SXT LTE7 kit is a rugged outdoor LTE access point designed for remote and hard-to-reach locations that are still within the coverage of a mobile network. It retains the proven SXT enclosure, trusted in thousands of deployments worldwide, but now features a faster LTE Category 7 modem for higher data speeds, improved stability, and better performance in both congested urban and rural LTE networks. Mount it outdoors, point it towards the nearest mobile base station, and enjoy reliable Internet access! SXT has always stood for dependable connectivity with minimal visual impact:Weatherproof and snow-resistant Discreet, durable, and robust design Engineered to avoid drawing unwanted attention The SXT LTE7 kit retains all the features that made this platform so popular while introducing its most significant upgradesubstantially improved mobile connectivity performance. Thanks to the LTE Category 7 modem, you benefit from higher upload speeds, improved responsiveness, and a more stable connection without changing your existing installation or configuration. The device is equipped with two Micro-SIM slots, allowing you to use a backup SIM card. Additional mobile network access options always improve connection reliability. Furthermore, the LTE Category 7 modem supports Carrier Aggregation, enabling the SXT to use multiple LTE bands simultaneously. This provides a major advantage in areas with high mobile network congestion, delivering better responsiveness and higher throughput. The benefits are equally noticeable in rural locations with weaker signal coverage, where Carrier Aggregation significantly improves connection efficiency. In real-world deployments, Internet speeds have been observed to increase by up to two times in rural areas after switching to Carrier Aggregation, eliminating the need to wait for wired infrastructure expansion. The device features two Ethernet ports and supports Power over Ethernet (PoE): PoE-in on the Ether1 port PoE-out on the Ether2 port This allows the SXT to both power other devices and receive power from another PoE device, greatly simplifying installation and cable management. A 24 V power adapter is included, while the device supports a wide input voltage range of 1257 V and is compliant with IEEE 802.3af/at standards.
