Kiekvienas raundas suskirstytas į du etapus: dienos ir nakties. Dienos metu žaidėjai keliauja toli ir plačiai, lankosi kaimuose, kad gautų užduočių, paminkluose, kad išmoktų galingų burtų, grybų giraitėse, kad gautų patarimų, ir klastingose vietose, ieškodami artefaktų! Artefaktų įsigijimas suteikia herojams unikalių gebėjimų; tai gali pagerinti herojų judėjimą ar kovą, jų gebėjimą išmokti burtus ar sušvelninti žalingus kauliukų metimus. Herojai turi keliauti pėsčiomis, žirgais, plaustais, valtimis ir grifonais, kad patektų visur, kur jiems reikia, kad įvykdytų savo užduotis, arba kad pasiruoštų tam, ką atneš naktis. Kadangi kiekvienas judėjimo būdas yra skirtingas ir ribotas, žaidėjai turi atidžiai apsvarstyti, kada ir kaip keliauti, jei nori pasiekti visus savo tikslus. Nakties metu žaidėjai turi spręsti savo užduočių ir sprendimų iššūkius, mesdami kauliukus, tikėdamiesi sėkmės ir žinodami, kada reikia pasitraukti. Ar spausitės į priekį?
