3.5 Hdd Enclosure

Did you know you can transform an ordinary computer component into a modern, portable memory bank? The AK-87 external drive enclosure is an advanced tool that allows you to adapt internal storage devices into mobile, cable-connected storage devices. This product was created to help you easily increase file space, securely archive valuable photos and videos, and instantly copy large collections of information between different computers. Intuitive Operation and Extensive Support Do you value your time and avoid tedious configuration? The AK-87 model is Plug & Play. This means the device is fully operational immediately after connecting it to your computer. The device does not require the installation of any additional drivers (specialized software enabling communication between the hardware and the operating system). The enclosure is highly versatile and works with almost any digital environment: Windows (versions XP, Vista, 7, 8, 10, and 11), macOS (Apple's operating system), Linux. Stability and Technical Specifications This model's reliable connection is guaranteed by the USB 3.0 standard (Universal Serial Bus a modern, fast version of 3.0). The AK-87 is a versatile data station, supporting media using the SATA interface (Serial Advanced Technology Attachment the most popular standard for communication between the drive and the motherboard). The device accepts two media formats: 2.5-inch (smaller drives, typical of laptops) and 3.5-inch (larger drives from desktop computers). You can fit: HDD (Hard Disk Drive) traditional, magnetic hard drives, perfect for storing massive amounts of data. SSDs (Solid State Drives) modern solid-state drives built with flash memory (a type of non-volatile electronic memory) that ensure silent operation and top performance. The enclosure allows you to create a massive archive, supporting media with a maximum capacity of up to 16 TB. To ensure stable operation of more demanding 3.5-inch drives, a dedicated auxiliary power supply (12 V 2 A) is included. Lightweight Data Transfer The AK-87 makes file copying exceptionally fast. Thanks to USB 3.0 technology, the device provides data transfer speeds of up to 5 Gb/s. This allows you to copy complex graphic designs, high-resolution photo galleries, or multi-gigabyte video materials in a fraction of the time required with older standards. Lightweight and Compact Design Despite its extensive capabilities, the enclosure remains fully portable. It weighs just 300 grams (without the internal drive), and its dimensions (18.3 × 11 × 2.8 cm) make it easy to fit in a laptop bag or backpack. Its minimalist design and classic black color make the AK-87 a great addition to any desk, serving as both a professional tool and an aesthetic accessory.
